The ACCA Professional Diploma in Sustainability is designed to support finance professionals who are committed to leading their clients towards compliance with the latest CSRD and IFRS Sustainability standards.

The programme is structured into four modules, each designed to provide participants with the expertise needed to navigate the complexities of sustainable finance. By enrolling in this program, finance professionals will gain a full understanding of Sustainability, develop skills in setting up measurement systems and learn how to create compliance reports that meet IFRS Sustainability standards.

The course begins with Sustainability Frameworks and Ethics, where participants delve into the foundational principles and ethical standards that govern sustainable practices.

The second module, Sustainability and Management, focuses on measuring risk, monitoring performance, and establishing robust measurement systems.

In the third module, Sustainability Reporting, participants will learn to create compliant reports that meet stringent IFRS sustainability standards, including the integration of sustainability into financial statements.

Finally, the Sustainability Assurance module will provide insights into the assurance process and the sustainability assurance cycle, emphasizing the importance of verification and accountability in sustainable practices.

This programme is certified by the ACCA and is open to non-ACCA members.

Who Is This Course For?

This programme was created in response to the CSRD legislation that requires finance professionals to report on sustainability issues. The programme was created in collaboration with industry and the need to urgently upskill in this area.

This module provides a foundational understanding of sustainability concepts, frameworks, and ethical considerations. It covers:

  • Roles and responsibilities in relation to sustainability matters

Sustainability Strategy and Management

This module focuses on the strategic aspects of sustainability, including planning, governance, risk management, and decision-making. It covers:

Sustainability Reporting

This module covers the preparation, analysis, and assurance of sustainability reports, including the application of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. It covers:
